I'm drenched in blessings!

So my long time readers know that I have a tradition I do every single year with my kids at Christmas. It's something I buy them to wear for the night after Thanksgiving and it's a night I get a picture we are known for on our Christmas cards we send out. Any guesses?? Well, It's the Christmas Pajama picture!!

Well last week I got an email from my friend Nancy telling me that she had a surprise for me and was thinking about a tradition I do with the kids every year at Christmas. Nancy and I met at the church where Jeremy and I met many years ago and Nancy's husband Frank was in my Pathways Class (Pathways was created and founded by Dr.Phil). Actually, Frank was the Large group leader, a pretty big deal in Pathways. Nancy and Jeremy had both already graduated from Pathways so I guess we were the spouses trying to be fixed! :) But our relationship really grew through my blog. I guess Frank had a link to my blog and Nancy found it through that and she started commenting and we got really close. Nancy is going to school to be a counselor and is one of the most amazing, AND beautiful women I know. If you watch Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice, you know who Addison is. Well, Nancy looks like Addison to me. Gorgeous and tall! Okay so back to Nancy's surprise!! Today the UPS man delivered CHRISTMAS PAJAMAS FROM NANCY!!! And they are the exact ones I wanted! The boys will match and Ava Beth will match the boys but in a different color. I am so excited!!!! Just wait until I post the pictures!!! I even have slippers to match, thanks to Kaufee/Kathy! Christmas pajamas are definitely a few of my favorite things!! (Thank you NANCY!!! I love you so much! I can't wait to take the picture and post it on my blog!! You are one of those friends that always blesses me by being thoughtful and thinking of things that are important to me. WOW!)

And when the doorbell rang and the UPS man left the pajamas, he also left another box from another friend! Kelly Ann knows how I always use real Mexican vanilla in all of my baking and she just got back from a vacation in Mexico and bought me a HUGE bottle of vanilla!! (Thank you Kelly Ann! It's the exact bottle I have from my trip that is almost empty! And I am playing the Wintersong CD non-stop! Duh! Would you expect any different?) Kelly Ann also called me last night and said that she is coming to stay with me the weekend that I lead worship because she really wants to be here to support me! I am so excited about that I can hardly stand it!!!!!!!

Oh and remember when Kaufee/Kathy took us to Wal Mart and bought the whole store for us? Well, the next day she took us to Old navy and did the same!

I am amazed at how God has been POURING out his blessings on us. And yes, Mexican vanilla is a blessing for sure! You would know if you tasted my fudge! :) Who knows, Oprah may show up next! :) If that happens, I better have my makeup on! :)

Yeah - I am so glad you got them! hope they all fit! I was at GAP today looking at Christmas Pj's for my kids - but my boys will wear only the bottoms- they will NOT sleep in shirts.....so Iam gonna have to see if I can find cute bottoms - I may try Target.
Oh, and I was MANY, MANY classes AHEAD of Frank in PW's I went in May of 2001 - class 179. Frank did not want to go at ALL - I took him to a graduation and he said -ok, I will put my name in the drawing and IF I win I will go - of course he NEVER thought they would draw his name - ha, ha - they did.....and the rest is history ;o)) Glad you got the Pj's cant wait to see pictures ;o))
