IT'S ON TONIGHT IN DALLAS!

Okay, so most of you will think I am crazy and even more of you will not understand, except for maybe Kate and my friend Lori. Tonight is a big night. No, tonight is a huge night!

My heart is pounding, my mind is racing, I can't even concentrate on folding laundry! The Packers are in Dallas tonight and only a third of the country will be able to watch it tonight because it's blacked out. That is a long story in itself and it really makes me mad so I won't go there. I will be watching it though because we have the NFL network and so do our friends. We are headed to a party tonight to watch on an HD tv! Some of these people at the party have never been around me in a social setting and I am a little worried because the Cowboys game is not a good game to get to know me. :) Well, maybe it is.

I can blame my Dad for my obsession with the Cowboys, it's his fault. We've talked on the phone a couple of times today already exchanging information back and forth on what we are hearing on ESPN and reading on the internet. The oddsmakers have favored Dallas by seven! Brett Favre has never won at Texas Stadium and since this game is in our backyard, I am thinking this one he will lose again. Plus I think the Cowboys will be a much better match up in the Superbowl against the Patriots. I know a lot of people would like to see Brett go to the Superbowl, etc. But, listen I don't feel bad for the guy. I'm a Cowboys fan, not a CHEESEHEAD! Cheese gives me gas anyway! And what Texas girl doesn't look good in cowboy boots!? Yes, I know I am crazy.

My friend Lori emailed me yesterday telling me she had a surprise to give me at the party when we watch the game. The only thing I could think of was maybe a Cowboys stocking or ornament but since she can't keep a secret and since she is a Cowboys freak like me, she told me what it was! So are you ready for this? She got me a TONY ROMO JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She got one for herself too so you will see pictures tomorrow, come rain or shine (and you know what that means) of some real Texas girls, born and raised, in our Tony Romo jerseys! I am not pleased right now with Tony's dating choice at the moment. I don't feel like she (not mentioning any names) is a good match for him, even if she is from Texas. I'm very protective of him and I think that girl from Oklahoma (you know the American Idol) would have been better but Tony doesn't ask for my opinion so all I can do is pray for him. :) Yes, I know I am crazy.

I'm fasting today. Not by choice. My nervous stomach won't let me eat. Today I am drinking from my Cowboys cup all day long, I am wearing my shirt (until I get my jersey tonight) and listening to my cd that I made for gameday. Yes, I have a gameday cd that gets me excited about the game. I told you, I am crazy about the Cowboys. Now I just need something to go on my Expedition so when I am driving everyone will know that I am a die hard Cowboys fan. Yes, I got an Expedition and would you believe what the color is? COWBOYS BLUE! :) Yes, I know I am crazy!

And IF you are a packers fan, you are not allowed to say the word packers, wisconsin, greenbay, brett favre, green, yellow, cheesehead, cheese or anything relating to them in the comments! THIS IS ONLY FOR COWBOYS FAN! DO YOU UNDERSTAND KATHY??????!!!! And yes I know that Tony is from Wisconsin and was a greenbay fan growing up, you still can't talk about it! :) yes, I know I am crazy and competitive too. Could you tell?

(And yes, I begged Jeremy to let me name Ava Beth, Dallas. He wouldn't let me and I don't like the name for a boy and my friend had already picked out Landry for a girl so I guess I need a dog with the name Dallas!)
