So the tree is FINALLY up! I also got the mantle done and the front porch but I still have two trees to do upstairs in the kids rooms. I know, I'm nuts! Oh and the kitchen is not done either. And I even put a tree in the bathroom but I am not sure how I will do that this year. This half bath does not have anything but a toilet and pedestal sink so I'm not sure how I can have a tree but knowing me, I'll figure something out! :) We also have to do some lights outside but Jeremy is sick and that probably won't get done until the weekend. Usually we have this stuff done before Thanksgiving but this year we have been lazy. Lazy and busy!

This is the first time I have not had the tree in the family room but this house does not have a tall enough ceiling for my tree in the family room. So we had to put it in the front room! You can tell by the pictures that my tree is very tall. I love it! The taller, the better! I did all of my red and gold stuff and then I let the kids do all of the other ornaments. They had so much fun! Josiah kept saying, "Mommy, I
very like this tree." He also said, "Mommy, I get nervous working on this tree." Now how in the heck does an almost five year old know how to use the word nervous?! :) Oh and check out my new Christmas tree skirt that I got the day after Christmas last year at Pottery Barn Kids! The day after Christmas they put a ton of stuff online half off with free shipping so I got it cheap! Right
now you would pay $80.00. I love it because it matches our stockings, which is another reason I hate our tree being in a different room than the stockings. :( Okay, so here is the first round of pictures. I will post more when I am finally done!

BEAUTIFUL.
Beautiful! I love the tree skirt and the stockings... we need to get new ones this year so we all match, maybe I will see if the PB outlet has anything:-)
Your decorations look beautiful! Don't you love having the lights on the tree? It is the coziest feeling ever!
Everything is beautiful! We always do our decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving. Mike is on call so hopefully he won't work so much we can't get it done this weekend! I love seeing the pictures!
So pretty. I love that Josiah is helping. Fun fun traditions!!
The house turned out GREAT!!!
We have the same Pottery Barn stockings... how funny! They came out with some really cute new ones this year. Of course!
Lovin' it!! This is seriously inspiring me - just like you did for fall! Only we are a whole week behind!! Tim can't get the stuff down from the attic for me until Saturday morning. UGH!!! Oh well, I won't let that spoil my joy of decorating my home for the season!!!
Beeeeee-uuuu-tiful! we seriously had no time this past weekend - I am 5 days behind.... UGH!!! Tomorrow we will. Need some major cheer here.
Um, wow! Your house looks so beautiful, so inviting. Just the way a house should look during the holidays. We're getting out our decorations this weekend and I can't wait!
So beautiful! You have such great taste. After seeing your pictures I think I could use a few tips on decorating! :)
