Well, I have read several chapters of Nehemiah but I've decided to go a little further back and read Joshua. It's one of my favorite books in the Bible and it's full of action so I started with Joshua, chapter one tonight. Talk about a book starting with a bang! “Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them."
I have so much I could write about with this first chapter but I am so tired. I'm going to bed! I'll have more to share tomorrow.
Be strong and courageous!

Decided to read in Joshua this morning after reading your post. I needed verse 9 in the first chapter....needed it very much today! I memorized that scripture a few weeks ago, but haven't brought it out lately and reading it was just what I needed to remind me to use it over my life right now.
I read through chapter 3 and they are so full of God's mercy and miracles. It also reminded me how God can use the most unlikely of people to further his work (Rahab the harlot) and that makes me see that he can use even me!
I'm so looking forward to reading the story about the fall of Jericho! I love that story and I am anxious to get to it.
Thanks for suggesting this! Looking forward to your thoughts.
I can't wait to hear what is going on! Thinking of you and praying!
