You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,
To the end that my tongue and my heart and everything glorious within me may SING praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Psalm 30:11-12

Nehemiah
I've read this book before but I have started it again and I am really enjoying it. I am also reading Matthew Henry's commentary to go along with it. If you care to read along with me, I just started chapter one.

I love the study of Nehemiah. It teaches us "rebuilding" and "restoration". Nehemiah was from the Tribe of Judah. He was a man of prayer and action. He was a cup bearer to the King and gave up his high position to the King to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. He was a visionary and a dreamer yet he knew order.
I promise that you will be encouraged and lifted up through the story of Nehemiah! I did it about three years ago as I prayed over a major life change. The Lord revealed much to me during this time, including that the gift of work is a holy offering unto Him. I learned that our God delights in giving us vision and delights more when we treasure that vision.
If you get a chance, read the book out of The Message. I will pray that the Word speaks to you mightily during this time! I've enjoyed reading your blog!

I'm in. I will start today. I have never read Henry's commentary but I have heard it's awesome!
