Running in 2008

My friend Wendy came up with a great idea about keeping track of your miles for 2008 and when you put it out for the world wide web to see, it tends to motivate you!

I ran last night and I wish I could mark that but we are still in 2007! This girl loves the winter so I never in a million years thought I would ever say something like this but here it goes. I'm ready for it to warm up so I can run MORE! I am ready for the days to get longer too! There! I said it. This Texas girl may finally turn into a Summer girl after all. :)

I'm so excited about 2008. Running, Homeschooling and so much more. I don't think I have ever felt like I have more purpose than I do right now. God is good! I am running towards so many things and God is doing such a huge work in me right now. I look forward to writing about it.

I've started by walking on the treadmill at a pretty steep incline. Here in about 2 weeks I'll be ready to run again.

How many miles are you shooting for???

Yay, I'm so glad you are going to do this! And, I'm excited for your 10K, that is great.

Homeschooling? We need to talk! I'm outta the loop here.

I'm ready to run outside too, it's hard to get very many miles on a treadmill and our sidewalks are pure ice.

I just saw you are going to use 100 easy lessons. I've used that w/2 kids (so far) and it has been great! It's an inexpensive phonics program that, in my opinion, works well.

I know this sounds crazy, but I think running is sort of biblical, the Bible uses it a lot to give analogies! I am a warm weather girl, not that I don't like the cool weather and fires in the fireplace, etc., but I love to run, and like 60s much better than 30s. I am excited to start running again after this baby!!! May will not be here soon enough!
