Got home from church, ate a quick lunch and ran out the door to get my running in today. It's 70 degrees and we have to be back at church at 4:30 this afternoon. There was no way I was going to miss out on this shorts and tank top weather!!! I decided to try a different route hoping I would get to five miles but it ended up only being 4.3. But, I have great news! Last time I ran five miles, I ran twelve minute miles. I have been really trying to kick it up a notch and get to an eleven minute mile (sounds simple for you marathon runners but not me) and I did it!!!! I ran 4.3 miles at an eleven minute pace!!!!! :)
I get my running partner back this week. Heidi is all better!! She was not at church today because Brett, her husband, did Austin's half marathon. His time was two hours and ten minutes! Way to go Brett!!
Now if I could get to ten minute miles, then nine! HA!!! Gotta start somewhere!

I have a great schedule to reduce your time that a trainer put together for me if you want it!
Oh, I want it too!! Erin, Post it please.
Way to go Amanda! It's a start and it can only make you feel better! I'm so proud of you!
Yay for you!!! I have been so remiss in posting my mileage. I need to go do that today! My goal is to get to a 10 minute mile as well, but I am still at 13.5 minute miles!! Ugh. All in due time!
Erin, please, PLEASE post that schedule!
Way to go, girl!!
Great job! I'm glad you and Kate are running miles for me. :) I pulled a muscle and have only been able to walk. It's driving me crazy, but I was told to stay away from running for a few weeks.
I will definitely post it! I will try and do that tonight! I will post on my blog tonight, please, hold me accountable.
I finally posted the schedule, sorry it took so long. Go check it out.
