Well, I got to run this afternoon after my husband came home from the doctor with an inhaler of albuterol and amoxicillin! I am praying I stay well.
I remember a time when I would have been so proud of myself for running at least two miles. Now I get mad if I run under four! Today running 2.7 was good but I came back feeling unsatisfied. If you can't tell by now, I am really hard on myself. (And I have a blog coming soon about that very topic!)
I had to quit at 2.7 because it changed from a sprinkle to rain and it was cold so I went home.
Warmer weather is coming, I am excited! I know I did not run what I wanted to but, I ran. I'm trying to be content with that.
And why I have the word WALK underneath my miles ran, I do not know. I hate walking!

If you were close to me I would pat your back and then slap you! :) I would pat your back b/c I am proud of you for running as much as you do. I am impressed at anyone who can do that! I would have to slap you b/c I ran for 4 minutes today and thought I was going to die. No, I don't mean miles... I mean minutes! Ugh, I am getting there but girl, I have to give you props! Keep up the hard work. The pay off will be worth it!
I too am impressed with your running! I'm so out of shape. Hopefully that is goin to change soon. I'm going to announce that on my blog soon!
Anyway, I also had to add that I noticed you have Phillipians 4:8 on your sidebar! That is so cool because the last message I heard from church (2 weeks ago we missed last week) was about Phillipians 4:8 and it has stuck with me for 2 weeks now. Everywhere I go I am reminded of it! Today coming to your blog and reading it was awesome...it's such a God thing!
2.7 is great to me! This is off the subject, kinda - but why oh why cannot in not be bitter cold like this around Thanksgiving and Christmas when we WANT to be in doors and we are to busy to work out anyway? Texas weather - I swear!
It'll be 60 Saturday ;o))) at least here in HEB and I am sure there as well.
Nancy
I know what you mean, I am running today and I am so happy about that! It has been beyond FREEZING here and I haven't had a good run forever. Today is a heat wave of 32 degrees. Ugh, I can't wait until spring...
