My boys Birthday's!

Now that Christmas is over, I now have to plan parties for the boy's birthdays. Ava Beth's Birthday was December 22nd and her party was a great success at Build-A-Bear. Josiah's 5th Birthday is January 7th and Ezekiel's 1st Birthday is January 16th! Josiah thought it would be "really cool" to have his birthday with his baby brother so we are having a Birthday bash in the next few weeks at a park for both boys. I can only hope and pray Josiah will wish to carry on this tradition so I don't have three separate parties to plan at Christmas time. Them being four years a part may put a damper on things! And since I hate, no detest home birthday parties and our budget does not allow for a Chucky Cheese Party, I have decided the park is a perfect place. Now today in Austin, the temp is supposed to be around 75 degrees and Sunday is supposed to be almost 80 degrees. But since this is TEXAS, the day I have chosen for the party could be 25 degrees with the ground covered in ice! That's what happens in Texas. So if you ever wonder why us Texans are such extreme people, blame it on the weather because we just can't help ourselves!

So here I go planning a Spider Man (he just changed his mind from Power Ranger to Spider Man) 5th Birthday party and Monster 1st Birthday party for my two favorite boys! Why Monster for the 1yr old? Well, his brother and sister have been saying he needs a Monster party for the past three months now because we call him baby Shrek. You see he makes these really hilarious monster noises when he is playing. We don't know why or where it comes from but it is so funny and he truly sounds like a baby monster! Thank goodness he acts NOTHING like a baby monster but more like a baby angel and that's for real too! He is an angel baby for sure!

Wish me luck and pray for good, Texas, mid January weather! :)

I am with you in the home birthday parties! I have done such a variety of things both at home and other places and the other places always seem less stressful!

The boys will love having their day at the park. I wish the weather would cooperate here for a "park day".

We did Spiderman for Samuel's birthday! I wish I had saved some spider rings from Halloween because I was going to just make cupcakes, but spider rings are apparently hard to come by in December :)

Best wishes for your birthday boys!

I hope you all have warm weather then! It seems we go to extremes to - this week highs in the 30's and this upcoming week back to 70. I dunno, I just dunno!

Gotta love Jan. bday's! Mine and one of my daughters is this month too! It helps get over the Christmas blues hump...
