Kristin Armstrong ran Austin's Captital 10k?

Of course she did!

I absolutely love her description of yesterday's race. When she writes about the hills, I can't help but to pat myself on the back. Come on, if Kristin Armstrong thinks those hills are killers, I didn't do so bad! Eleven minute miles on GINORMOUS hills aint' too shabby! And if she thought 15th street was grueling, you know I wasn't lying about those Austin hills!! Good grief Charlie Brown, those were some hills! Tonight I've been looking up races I would like to run and I am thrilled when I see under the course description, "FLAT and fast."

Read what Kristen has to say about yesterday's race, here!

And don't ever let anyone tell you Texas is flat and boring (I read a blogger's description of Texas one time and she said it was flat and boring)! Obviously they are not very familiar with Austin!

Well, we just spent Easter break in San Antonio and drove up to Fredericksburg twice- it definitely is NOT flat and boring! It was absolutely beautiful - and the 80 degree days and constant breezes were nothing to complain about either:-) (Running up those hills, now that might be something to complain about! Yikes!)

The SA marathon is very flat, not many hills at all!
