So I just ran 3.8 miles in the heat and my time was 35:17. I was so excited and then I called Thomas and he said, "That is too much intensity in this heat. That is a really good time but you can't do that in this heat!"
Well, dang it!
And just so you know, I am glad he said it was too much because I felt like I was DYING!!!!!!

Mandy, (can I call you that?) :-) First off, that is an excellent time girl! I might just start running....you inspire me.
Also, I have been offline for a little over a week and just started catching up on my blog reading. I printed off all 6 of your newest entries and read every word. I needed each one.
I have been going through a really tough time lately. I'm in a pretty dark place and each verse you shared, each thought - I felt was for me. God used you to minister to me and I thank Him and you. I cried reading through it all.
I don't know you personally but I love you and I'm not too shy to say it.
Thomas is right, you have got to be careful in the heat! It is easy to overdo it!
