My random playlist

I can't sleep so I thought I would give you a playlist. Here's some I have recently added. My best friend Kelly Ann sent me an iTunes giftcard for my birthday and I forgot I had it. So I went shopping tonight! Thanks Kelly Ann!

No Air- Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown
I love the voices, the music, everything about this song. This week I have needed Jeremy in so many ways. He knows why I am hurting so deeply, he understands and this song makes me think about how much I need him. It's really awesome what God is doing in our marriage.

Radio Ga Ga- Queen (Freddy Mercury)
The early days of MTV were great. It truly was Music television back then. I remember being a little girl watching Live Aid with my Dad and watching Freddy Mercury sing this song. He has one of my favorite voices in the whole world. He looked bizarre as he danced around the stage in his white tank top and tight jeans but this song totally sucked me in. I will NEVER forget it.

Divine Romance- Phil Wickham
Well you know how much I love Freddy Mercury? Well, this guy has a very similar texture to his voice. Right now I can't think of a male voice that is as perfect as this one. His lyrics and voice totally captivate me. This song brings me to my knees in worship.

Aint No Sunshine- Willis Jackson
My husband is not a talker. He talks to me, he talks to his friends but he is not known for talking like I am. Since he is a man of few words, I don't forget the things he says to me. This song is one I have always loved but it reminds me of something he said to me when I was out of town and he was home alone. "I do not like coming home to a home without you. You are my home. Please try to always be here when I get home."

Praise You In This Storm- Casting Crowns
A good friend of mine is a huge Casting Crowns fan. A few days ago, she shared this song with me. I'm in a storm right now but I'm finding so much peace and experiencing so much growth as I sit in the middle of it. I've found shelter. I'm going to keep praising Him.

Your Love Is Extravagant- Casting Crowns
I used to sing this song with my close friend and Worship Pastor, Paul. One time he had his brother come and sing with us and we did this song. It was incredible to sing with the two of them. This song makes me miss singing with Paul, He is still like a Pastor to me and Jeremy both. And this song has ministered to me sooooooo much this week.

Let The River Flow- Darrell Evans
Another song with Paul. This is one of my favorite worship songs ever! Love it!

Under The Willow Tree- Cambridge Singers
This song is from the Opera, Vanessa. I sang this song at a solo competition my freshman year. My voice teacher said if I wanted to score a 1 (the best score you could get) I needed to sing an Italian song because the judges only gave out high scores to those that sang a song in Italian. I hated singing in a different language. So she came in the next week to my private voice lesson and said, "If you want to score perfect and you don't want to sing Italian, sing this." And she handed me the sheet music to this song. The piano does not really match the melody. It's a very hard song and she said it would take some major counting on my part. I was determined and guess what? I got a perfect score! I can't believe I was once a 1st Soprano! I am a total Alto now.

The Phantom Of The Opera- Original Cast
Seeing Andrew Lloyd Webber on American Idol was amazing! I have sang so many songs from his musicals back in High School. I've been living out a lot of High School Choir memories the last couple of days! My favorite of course is this one! Jeremy was screaming at me to not be so loud as I sang this in the shower last night. Oh yes, I sang the ending so you know it was loud! But man do you sound good in the shower or what?! And for some reason I sing Soprano in the shower but no where else! My husband saw this musical on Broadway before we met. He reminds me of it all the time! I've never been to NY City and to see this musical on Broadway would be Heaven on Earth!

It Just Comes Natural- George Strait
My song to Jeremy. I can see us at Cowboys in Arlington, Texas dancing the night away in cowboy boots. He's a cowboy at heart and wow do I like that!

Oh I always love your playlists! We must have the same taste in music! Have you heard "Carried to the Table" by Leeland? Just going through a difficult time right now and I have listened to this song so much lately!
