I met someone this week visiting family in the Austin area. Tomorrow she will board a plane to return to her home state of Alaska! As we chatted about her visit here, she said something most people say when visiting Texas, "It is soooooooooooo hot here!"
Yes folks, it's hot! Today in Austin, we reached 101! Currently at 5:22pm, it's 99 degrees. Thankfully tomorrow we are only supposed to reach 96!
This really makes running a very sweaty event and the electric bill a nightmare!

I was pouring buckets on my run this morning and it was only 73! I miss Texas, but not that heat. Good heavens.
