Happy Mother's Day

Well, it's been an incredible Mother's Day today. Our service was awesome!!! I am so happy with how it all turned out besides a few brain farts some of us had (ahem..Thomas, next week look at your service script I make for you! And me during the welcome and during "Your Grace Is Enough". My poor worship pastor, Drew, I don't know how he kept a straight face)!! It was a great service and one full of laughter! I got to sing my favorite singer in the whole world, Martina McBride and I gotta say, I think I pulled it off! I don't know if I have ever been that nervous before. Since Martina is my idol and my favorite female singer in the whole world, I was very scared to sing her song, "Blessed". The band ROCKED and sounded JUST like the original.

My husband wrote me one of the most incredible cards he has ever given me. Tomorrow I have to share what it said because it made me laugh and cry. God is continuing to do a major work in our marriage and I seriously feel like we are falling in love all over again. Thank you Lord for what you are doing in our life! I'm blown away by His blessings and I feel so "Blessed"! Oh and my Mother's Day present is being picked up tomorrow!!!! Can't wait!

If you look at the picture of me and Ezekiel, you will notice a necklace with hot pink hearts. First of all, hot pink is my favorite color and my son, Josiah, knows that. So he went shopping with Daddy and picked this necklace out himself. I had picked out my Mother's Day outfit on Friday so when Josiah told me he wanted me to WEAR my present to sing in on Sunday, I was nervous and so was Jeremy. He did not know if it would match or if I would like it. But, I loved it! My boys know me well! It went perfect with black and white!

After church we went out to eat with our friends Monica, Tripp and Krissy. Monica and Tripp are very good friends of ours and Krissy is Tripp's sister. Krissy is becoming a close friend too! I love these girls! You know when you meet people and you just know whether or not you are going to have a connection? Sometimes you instantly KNOW when you will be close to someone. I feel this with both of these women and I love them very much. Oh and Trip and Jeremy have identical personalities. The very first time I met Tripp, I thought "He is JUST like Jeremy." God has blessed us with incredible friends. They are so important to me and I almost giggle with excitement every time I think about how God put them in our life. (Monica is also my friend who took those incredible pictures of my babies! She rocks!)

Tonight we are hanging out on the couch watching TV. I feel so blessed, so blessed! A perfect day to sing Martina's song.
