FYI- I'm in journal mode right now with this blog.
I woke up this morning with a heavy heart. All through the night I kept waking up and could not get this song out of my head. By four o'clock in the morning I knew it was a song our church needed to hear soon. At 8:40am when my eyes finally opened for the day, I knew my friend Julia needed to sing it. Every word of this song explains so much about where we need to be. I am extremely burdened and needing to pray in order to see what God is trying to show me. This is what I have prayed for! I have prayed all week God would burden me with some things. I have prayed for brokenness and I know He put this song in my head all through the night on purpose.

That is one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. I needed it. I need to go to the cross. Why do we drift? Why do we grow cold when we know God hates it.
I needed this. It truly brought conviction on me.

This reminds me of my favorite worship leader Meghan Pierce.
She spends so much time every week in the presence of God listening for what He would have her bring to us.
