My Dad is the superintendent of a golf course in the Dallas area. He sent me a few pictures of some greens he's worked on to make sure they look perfect for the busy golf season. Tomorrow he will be enjoying a well deserved day off at Colonial, where he gets to meet another superintendent who has worked hard preparing the greens for the greatness such as Phil Mickelson. He called me last night pretty upset, thinking he would not be able to go due to work at the golf course. I specifically prayed last night he would be able to go. "God, please make a way for him to enjoy his sport away from work. Give him a day at Colonial." This afternoon he called to tell me he was going! Not only is he going but he's got some pretty awesome passes and will get to meet GREATNESS!
A prayer I have prayed for many, many years. "God, I want to see my Dad happy. Please restore the years he has lost due to pain and bring him joy beyond measure. Allow my Daddy to see his dreams come true."
God has answered those prayers I have prayed since I was a little girl. Tonight I got an email from my Dad telling me how proud he is of me and told me how much God has gifted me and how he prays for me daily. I cherish those emails. I love him so much!!
Thank you Jesus. I am proud of my Daddy. As you have made his dreams come true, you have also fulfilled mine.
