If you have not been following his blog, you must start now. His wife died of a pulmonary embolism 27 hours after Madeline was born. She never even got the chance to hold her. He writes daily about his newborn daughter Madeline. You will fall in love with Matt and Madeline instantly.

Matt is in the thick of grieving, yet experiencing amazing joy through his baby girl. Matt has a funny sense of humor and shares every detail of the gut wrenching process of losing his wife. Can you imagine? No! You can't. Or most of us can't. One lady sent him a comment scolding him for using the "F" word on his blog. Just seeing the comment made me want to use the "F" word!! This is his journey, this is his indescribable pain he has chosen to share with the world and for someone to scold him for cussing is absolutely crazy. At least he is real with how impossible the situation is to find relief. He has a long road and he knows it. So he shares it.
