Words cannot possibly express how refreshed I feel at this moment. One load of laundry left to do and it is done! Until Monday when there will be new load. All of it is folded and put away and my best friend Kelly Ann was not even here to help! Kelly Ann seems to fold clothes every time she is here. Last time she got the kids involved too and now they want to help! Thanks Aunt Kelly! What are best friends for, right?
Josiah and Daddy went to the baseball game tonight. Me and the little ones played in the backyard and then watched a movie. Tomorrow I have taken the day off from church. No service script to prepare, not getting up early for practice, nothing! In fact, I told Jeremy that I needed a real day off. So we are staying home! This will be the first time I have missed a service since OCTOBER. There was one Sunday in January I did not sing but still went. But tomorrow, I'm staying home and cooking my husband a huge Father's Day breakfast. I've already prepared half of it tonight. My oven will be going full blast in the morning. Along with the coffee maker, waffle maker, mixer and blender. Knowing Jeremy, we won't get to serve him breakfast in bed. He wakes up automatically every morning at 5am. He is such a morning person!
My house is clean and I get to spend my morning doing three of my favorite things. Cooking, baking and spending quality time with my family. The coffee pot is set and ready to brew. I can't wait! This is why I love the Holidays. There is nothing better than an early morning in the kitchen sipping hot coffee while you bake and everyone else sleeps. It's sacred. I LOVE IT! It reminds me of how God has fulfilled my dreams as a wife and mother. My kitchen is the place where so many dreams have been lived out. God reminds me of this often as I prepare meals for my precious family.
Nothing to do tomorrow but RELAX! Seriously, the house is spotless so I have no reason to not relax. I may even finish a book my friend Amy bought me. I'm almost done with it and I think tomorrow will be the day I finish it! Then tomorrow night our new favorite show on Discovery comes on. (If you did not watch When We Left Earth last Sunday night, watch it!)
Did I mention I ran SEVEN miles this morning? :) Yes, I am still celebrating. Seven miles and a spotless house! I think the vitamins and herbal pills I'm taking has started to work wonders. :)
Happy Father's Day Jeremy. Thank you for making my dreams come true. I could not stay home with my babies if it wasn't for the hard work you do every single day. Thank you for taking care of our family the way you do. We are so proud of you!! I love you.

Awe...that sounds so cozy and warm! I love how you make your family feel so special. They are going to remember the special things that you do for them and how you have made them feel "Warm and Cozy". I hope that your breakfast went well and that Jeremy and Josiah had fun at the baseball game!
how did your day go ???? =0)
It was awesome. I made a ton of food and we ate all day while watching western movies. Tombstone and Outlaw Josie Wales. Then Jeremy decided to buy us a pool!
that is the pool my Jeremy has been looking at... we don't have a level spot we are afraid... where did he get yours from?
