I've always had Barney Rubble feet. My feet always look like I'm nine months pregnant! I've even been told my toes look like Vienna Sausages. Nice, right? My friends and family love to make fun of my feet! This freaky toe ain't helping my case any! These feet were not created to be a part of any kind of foot modeling so it's a good thing I decided to use them for funky/uncomfortable shoes and running. That's all they're good for, 'cause these feet are ugly!
Yesterday my friend Amy asked how my hanging toenail was doing. I decided to take my shoe off and show her how cool it is to be able to lift your toenail up and see what's underneath. She did not think it was cool! Then right before I went for my long run last night, I looked down and it was really, really hanging. I barely touched it and it came off almost completely. Then I had to just yank it off! I'm not sure what to do with the nub. Right now it looks like my toe is flipping you off! I assure you, it's not. It's just a proud toe so it stands taller than the rest!
Here's to pounding my feet in the ground and losing them all! Toenails are for sissies! :)

Seriously, does it hurt?...because just reading about it made me shiver! :)
Sure it hurt when it was truning black but it was not a horrible hurt. taping it up helps when running. it's really not a big deal, it's just not pretty. :)
My second toe is longer, too, and my husband says you can shake hands with my feet because my toes are so long. haha My mother, though, assured me when I was growing up that a longer toe is s sign of intelligence... hm, the things moms will do to make their kids feel good about themselves!
Ok so the fact that you are so proud of that toe nail cracks me up. I am super happy for you that you can wear it like a badge of honor, but YUCK woman =)
