10 miles

I ran 10 miles this morning and I am very excited! Yes, 10 miles!!!

My Half Marathon is not until November and then I am doing another one in December. Since I am way ahead of schedule for training, I'm going to stay at ten miles long runs for several weeks.

My body is definitely beginning to feel the wear and tear of running. My toenail began to grow back and then I lost the nub. My feet are aching tonight and I am exhausted. Five nights of VBS and then a run at 6:30 this morning was rough. Then I had to be at church at 9:30am for band practice. At 1pm, we had a birthday party at Pump It Up (Heidi and I raced on an obstacle course and she won!) and then we went to Chuy's for a late lunch. My Mom and Step-Dad are in town until tomorrow. I think they are probably ready to go home because we've kept them busy. :) Tomorrow I am leading worship. After that, it's official, I'm on break and soooooooo looking forward to it.

I had to share the good news with all of you!! TEN MILES!!! TEN MILES!!!

Oh and Jeremy ran 7 1/2 miles of it with me! It was a blast running together. We laughed non stop about silly stuff and had lots fun. It was so nice to have that time alone!
