You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, To the end that my tongue and my heart and everything glorious within me may SING praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Psalm 30:11-12

Welcome to the family
I am not an animal person at all. We do have an Australian Shepherd I love, Cheyenne. Jeremy bought her for me after we got married. But other than her, I don't really care for animals. Since we've started homeschooling, I've really been feeling Josiah needed something to take care of. The more I read about how to make learning a part of our everyday lifestyle, the more I realize how important it is to teach Josiah how to "care" for things. Caring for family, friends and even pets is a great way to teach responsibility! I had mentioned the fish idea to Jeremy a few weeks ago. I heard Jeremy mention to Josiah something this morning about a hamster and I just about hit Jeremy over the head. NO WAY! NO HAMSTER! So they came home a little while ago with five fish instead! Josiah got to name two, Ava Beth got to name two and Josiah named one for Ezekiel. They came up with these names all on their own. It's very funny what they chose!
Spiderman
Red PowerRanger
Hannah Montana
Sharpay
DJ Lance (Josiah said this was perfect because Zeke loves Yo Gabba Gabba)
Welcome to the family! I hope you live long!

How cute is that! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
I hope the fish lives too.
On another note, I am popping in to let you know I finished my first 10K this morning. I really wasn't ready, but glad I did it. Will have a better idea of what to expect next time.
Cute names!! I love that red jar in the background too. I saw one at TJ Max the other and didn't know what in the world I would put in it.....what do have in the cute thing?
P.S. I love reading about your homeschool adventure!
