"BOO" Bags

Until we moved to Central Texas, we had never been "booed" before! Last year was our first year! This year Josiah chose three friends he wanted to "Boo". So back in September I began scoping out the Dollar Tree and the dollar section of Target and found some great goodies to go inside and I baked some goodies! Toys, straws, candy, popcorn balls, cookies, pencils, etc.! If you want instructions on how to create BOO Bags, you can go here. We had so much fun dropping these off at the door, ringing the door bell and running away to the get-a-way car. Well, Mommy did that part! Then Josiah demanded we drive back by to see if they picked them up. Sure enough, the BOO Bags were found!! Those kids will never know who the Boo bag came from! It's a secret! That's the fun part!

Josiah began naming off the friends we did not do Boo Bags for. I tried to explain that it costs money to do this so we could only do three. But after this afternoon, the whole "drop off scene" has convinced me to do three more! We had a blast!!!

The wind is howling right now and a cold front has finally hit Texas!!! Yee Haw! Perfect weather for "Boo" Bag drop-offs!

Those bags are adorable!

Last year we also surprised a single, older woman friend of ours and it meant SO much to her. Since she never had children she had missed out on some of the fun, and my girls loved sharing it with her:-)
