Josiah has decided what Ava Beth, Ezekiel and his self needs for Christmas. Here was our conversation yesterday.
Josiah- "Mommy, I know what me and Ava Beth and Baby Zeke need for Christmas!"
Me- "You still want drums, right?"
Josiah- "Well, WE want a stage full of instruments and three microphones or five so you and Daddy can sing too. We can have a rock band! The whole family can now be a rock band!!!"
What's interesting is I had already decided to get them a Karaoke machine with microphones because they love singing. This Christmas is going to be a loud one!!! My head is spinning with some ideas.
Needless to say, I am thrilled my little ones love and appreciate music like myself. Josiah can sing on pitch. He blows me away with how he can repeat something I sing. Ava Beth? Not so much. :)
(November 1st is almost here. Time to break out my Christmas music. I've been warning and preparing Jeremy all week for this day. He thinks I am crazy when it comes to Christmas. And I am!)

Well, you may be crazy :-) But I'm right there with you! Christmas cd's are ready to go... I can't wait!
Samuel would LOVE to have drums.
You go first :)
I have seen on home makeover shows where they build a stage for budding singers and musicians! Your family needs one of those :)
I have a funny story about pitch, or lack thereof. My dh is an amazing singer! He just has a beautiful voice and is very musically talented with several instruments also. He also writes beautiful songs.Anyway, we have three children and so far they sing okay, my two year old has the best pitch so far(they have their Mommy's genes to contend with too!) ;) On Wednesday and Sunday evenings,we do family worship time.My dh plays the piano and leads us in worship. He has lovingly reminded me a time or two,"stay on pitch".I asked him, "isn't it better to sound better than to worry about pitch?"He said "No, it is better to be on pitch." My question illustrates how little musical ability I have. ;) Hopefully my kids will be more like him!
That boy is "stoopindus".
I hope by the time I get home tonight you will have posted Halloween pics.
luv u
