Josiah & YEAR 3000

Josiah has been our "Rocker" ever since he was a baby. Those colic nights could only be calmed by one thing. LOUD MUSIC! Serious, it worked. We would turn the music up so loud you couldn't hear anything but. And he would quit crying completely. We did this for THREE, LONG months.

Now Josiah is almost six years old and daily carries his guitar around everywhere he goes. "Josiah, please QUIT hitting my walls with your guitar." Or "Josiah, NO guitar at the table while we are eating!" He asks if he can take the guitar into Wal Mart with us or to church with us. He SLEEPS with it. I am constantly painting chips in the wall from his jam sessions and Ava Beth cries at least once a day because she has accidentally been knocked in the head by his guitar.

The cool thing is, he sings on pitch!!! I can sing something and he can actually match my pitch. It blows me away!!!

Currently he is obsessed with the Jonas Brothers and their music. I just had to blog about this because last night he was in the backyard with his guitar singing YEAR 3000 at the top of his lungs. If you don't know this song, check it out!
