Well, last night around 9pm I began reading The Shack. This morning I continued while the kids slept and when they woke up I decided to let them watch Polar Express. While they watched, I finished the book. The first sixty pages had me stopping several times to tell God, "I can't read this." Something in me felt the need to continue (Holy Spirit). Somewhere in chapter 8, peace fell all over me and I whole heartily continued.
Tonight I am going to start reading it to my husband. I can honestly say that this book is the most powerful thing besides the BIBLE I have read. I am praying that my spirit will continue to soak up what I need to truly "get" from it.
