Menu for week of March 23rd

Well Spring Break is over and it's back to school for us this week! I'm kind of sad but it just gets me excited about the Summer. Last week's menu worked great. I changed up the plan on some nights by eating a meal planned for Monday on a Tuesday. Also the roast I bought had a funny smell when I opened it so I did not use it. But I did buy a new roast and made it yesterday. The great thing about planning the week's menu is having a plan and if you want to change up the plan you can! The menu keeps me from running to HEB two or three times a week to get stuff when a meal pops into my head that wasn't planned. If you aren't in the mood for Monday's meal, make Thursday's meal!

Also you will notice how much I will be using the grill this week. The weather is fabulous and the clean up is so easy when using the grill! We also eat a lot of grilled chicken in this house! At least once a week. I switch up the marinades to keep it different.

Spaghetti (ground turkey/whole grain pasta)
Salad

Tuesday
Grilled Chicken with grilled vegetables (zucchini and squash)

Wednesday
Jambalaya

Thursday
Grilled pork chops
Salad

Friday
No plan!

I am starting slow at this menu planning, but I am thankful, because I feel like it has already paid off. David made homemade vegetable beef soup last night, which hayden adn I will have tonight for dinner, and possible me lunch tomorrow. Thanks for some great ideas..oh yeah...still waiting on the bleu cheese burgers.
