Last Day of Kindergarten!

Today was our last day of school. Of course Josiah wanted to celebrate with Taco Bueno! Fine by me! I also told him that on the last day of school he could cash in all the money in his piggy bank and buy something. He chose to buy a Light Saber (one that makes noise and lights up) and another Star Wars figurine! Was there ever a doubt? He is a Star Wars addict! He's been calling Ezekiel a "Baby Jedi". So funny! I love his imagination and creativity.

I can't believe Kindergarten is over! In many ways I am a little sad but in more ways I am proud. We've had some hard days but many incredible days! I can honestly say that I never doubted my decision to Homeschool. Never! Not even once! I'm very excited about First grade in the Fall and Ava Beth will be starting with us too. She won't be starting kindergarten yet but the great thing about Homeschool is when she turns five next December, if I feel she is ready, we can start.

Next year I hope to have some homeschooling friends and do more field trips and projects. There are so many things I learned about my son and about me. Next weekend we are going to have a Kindergarten Graduation celebration with my parents because they will be in town for Ava Beth's dance recital. I can't wait!

Congratulations Josiah! I am so proud of you and I love you very much!

We did it!
