another book

I just reserved this online at the Library. I read some of the pages online via Amazon and connect so instead of spending more money on books, I just checked the online library catalog and they have it. Surprisingly because this library does not have one single author I have looked up for the current books I am reading! But I did add it to my Amazon wish list because I can already tell this is a book I would highlight to death! I'm a very tactile learner, I must touch my books!!! Who else writes, underlines and highlights their books? My books sometimes look like a journal because I connect so much more when I add my thoughts in the margin.

Happy reading and happy School Day! It's almost Summer!

Great book ... but it overwhelmed me ;) I love seeing your hunger for homeschooling! I need a boost every spring to get me going again.

And it may do the same for me! As long as I remember that it is not all or nothing. I get to choose! I am just really needing to feed my soul and mind while I am eager for change.

Seeing that I am MUCH like you (which I like), it will probably overwhelm me too! :)

I am an underlining, highlighting and page corner turning down reader. I need to keep post it notes to add but I seem to always forget.

It is fun to look back at books I have marked up and see what was speaking to me:-)

I liked this book too, but I thought it was overwhelming. I like that the focus is about teaching them how to think and be life long learners.

I think most homeschooling books are overwhelming but I'm learning that I start these books without putting expectation on myself. I love the ideas in this book and I connect with this style a lot. I continue to pray that the Lord redefines who I am as a mother and use these wise women to help me find security. It's a beautiful journey I'm on right now! I'm sure I will experience those funks again but right now I'm at a good spot! Trying to just soak it up!
