Worms!

Now hold on just a durn minute! We got us some worms in this house! BOOK WORMS! We have been reading books for the past three days non stop and I had to share some with you that are our favorites!

This is one I checked out from the Library for Ezekiel (3 years old) and he loved the pictures and loved that butterflies came out when the Mommy sang. Actually there was an orange butterfly, his favorite color, he LOVED. "Oh Mommy, dere is an owange butterfly. My fav-wite color." And I would like to believe that my kids think this Mommy is MAGIC!

From a baking Chicken to a knitting Chicken to even a singing Chicken, these "Chicks" were cool! And who doesn't have neighbors like The Fontinis, aka the rabbits?! You will have to check this one out at the Library or buy online to see what I am talking about! This one Ava Beth loved, especially when I used my "Diva Chicken" voice!

Since the boys have decided to become full blown Cowboys, Ava Beth has also taken an interest. We decided she was a Wild West Cinderella and then I found this book on Amazon when I was searching for "Cowboy" and "Cowgirl" books to buy. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this book and it actually said "A Wild Western Cinderella". The book is exactly like the story of Cinderella with a rodeo twist! Of course fattening up my Texas accent makes listening so much fun for the kids. My Texas accent isn't as strong as some so I have to make sure I mimic my husband who has a serious Texas accent!

And the boys, love, love, love, love, love these books! The illustrations are some of the best I have ever seen in a children's book. We got these on Amazon too! Cowboy Camp is Ezekiel's favorite book because of my "Mean Cowboy" voice for one of the characters. Your kids will LOVE it but make sure you can talk like a Cowboy when you read! The slower you read those words, the easier to talk like my husband, my very own Cowboy!

Hey girl! How are things? It sounds like you are settling in to the new house! Congratulations on the pregnancy! I'm so happy for your family! What a blessing!

I wanted to share with you that I FINALLY started running! I have been running for four weeks! Now remember I'm totally out of shape when I say this but today was the first day I could run 1.5 miles without having to stop and walk some! I'M SO PUMPED! I've already signed up for a 5K on May 15. I know that 1.5 miles is far from a 5K but I figure if I have to walk some of it so be it! I'll just sign up for another one until I can run it! I just had to share because you were a huge part of that inspiration!

Blessings!
