Music and art day!

Don't be fooled! This takes longer than it looks! The fine motor skills it takes to cut out handprints OBVIOUSLY takes all day. Ezekiel had no interest in the cutting part and the older ones chopped off a few fingers in the process (paper fingers)! Hopefully, no one will ever see the repairs I was forced to make. The back of these wreaths are covered in tape! Handel's Messiah (composer study) makes things a little more peaceful when you are surrounded by construction paper, glue, tape and have a baby hanging off your leg. These art projects take work, but the kids are so proud of their work when it's finally hanging on the wall!

I love Wednesdays!! I've been looking forward to this art day for the past four weeks. Fall is glorious! Christmas art will be even better!!

Happy Fall!

Those are so cute!! How fun it will be for your kids to look back on those when they are grown and see how small their hands used to be. Great job, Mom!!! :-)

In this new adventure of homeschool I'm so blessed to have you as my faithful friend :) You bring so much joy and excitement of seizing these moments and making memories. I thank our Lord that I have you to show me these fun ideas! I love that you so freely share all your homeschool wisdom and never withhold great ideas. Just popping in to say that this non-homeschooling mama gets lots of good ideas for afterschool crafts from your blog. Keep 'em coming!
