"Mandi, SING."

I am in the midst of exciting times and lots of changes. In many ways, my heart is already there. I am still "in waiting", laboring the process of change, but I am excited at what my Father is doing on my family's behalf. The week before Jude was born, I listened to this song over and over again.  I remember the day before I went into labor, the Holy Spirit prompted me to listen to this song. I was miserable, tired of being dilated to a five with nothing happening! The next morning I was in labor.  As soon as I found RESOLVE in the Lord, He moved on my behalf. Life sprang forth!

When God speaks to me, it's always in ways that speak to who He created me to be. He knows how to reach me, He made me! His message this week has been simple. "Mandi, SING." And yes, I often hear God speaking in all caps! Today, Ava Beth and I sang this song at the top of our lungs.  She knows every single word because she has heard me sing it many times.  I've needed this song to get into my bones, my mind, my heart, and my spirit.

My heart has taken flight, but I will wait upon you Lord. I have resolve in YOU. Always!

(Thank you to Kelly Ann, my best friend back "home", for reminding me that I need to "get back" to who God created ME to be! I love you.  Thank you for always celebrating who I am. I cry just thinking about it.  Christs loves me through you constantly. Thanks for truly knowing me and loving me. I guess you kind of have to since you've been my friend for twenty-one years.)

I love you much, my friend! Thanks for showing me so much grace during this time of craziness with our move. I miss talking to you as often as we have in the past, however, I LOVE how we can pick right back up like no time has passed at all!

Are you sure it's been that long?!?! :) It has flown by! What a blessing!

Love you!

When you moved away from home (the first time) I often said, "I miss hearing Mandi sing!" I remember how you would sing in your closet so you could hear your pitch better. Your closet was not sound proof and I stood often at your door with tears in my eyes as you would sing. How awesome God gave you a gift that also sets you free!
Sing, Mandi! With all your heart. I love that you are teaching your children to sing and not just the notes ---- the WORD!

I love you
