strong arrows

If you know me, really know me, you know my testimony. You know all the things the Lord has helped me to overcome. CHAINS have been broken! I still have my days when I feel like that little girl in the midst of tragedy, but my husband and children continue to be the healing balm to a painful past.

I prayed for this amazing man, my husband. I also prayed for a mantle full of stockings. My prayers were very specific when I was a teenager. It feels good to be right smack dab in the middle of all those prayers being answered. And next Christmas...we add another stocking!

Jeremy, I love you. The fruit of our intimacy sure has been powerful! Look at that mantle!! I know we are constantly being refined and never do we pretend to have the perfect marriage, but it is perfect. We are perfectly matched and perfectly in the center of His will. The Lord is using us big time! Our arrows are strong!

Psalm 127
3 Children are a heritage from the LORD,
offspring a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.

I've been reading you ever since you were pregnant with your 3rd. And since it is Thanksgiving week, I wanted to thank you for all of your sharings. I've read about when you were up, down, and all around. I LOVE your realness. You're fearless when it comes to being real and that ministers to me. I need to see that so that I can imitate it. Reading about all the different phases of your life and watching you come through them has been teaching for me. And now to see you glow(like in this post's picture) is a beautiful thing. The vibrancy you exude as a wife and mother is contagious. Keep on keeping on.
