Mr. Bean and scary movies

I love British Comedy and sometimes at night when I can't sleep, which is almost every night, I like to watch Are You Being Served or Keeping Up Appearances. Actually, I have not seen these in a while because they are never on here in Austin but were on a lot in Dallas. But my favorite British comedy is Mr. Bean. When I was single it was on PBS almost every single night. I had a boyfriend that owned the entire DVD collection so I have seen every episode. Mr. Bean is hysterical and I now have Jeremy hooked and my parents too. Some of my favorite episodes are Mr. Bean at church, Mr. Bean taking an exam, Mr. Bean at the dentist, Mr. Bean in the parking garage and many, many more. Oh and of course Mr. Bean at the mall during Christmas! But the one I have posted below is my all time favorite.

Just the other night we were hanging out with friends talking about scary movies. For a person that gets scared really easy, it's kind of dumb that I enjoy scary movies so much. I blame it on my Dad because he is obsessed with Horror films. Since having kids, I have just about stopped watching them because they freak me out too much. But, there are two trips to the movie theater I will never forget.

The first happened when I was single. A bunch of us went to see What Lies Beneath. I have never jumped so much in my life and the guy sitting next to me actually jumped and screamed and his pop corn went everywhere. It was hilarious! The second trip I remember was with a group that included our pastor at the time. We went to see The Grudge. I was about eight months pregnant with Ava Beth. That movie was SCARY! The funniest thing was seeing my pastor jump and hearing a bunch of young high school guys, who were also in the theater, scream. And they were not pretending! They were scared! Once we all got home, our pastor's brother (he was with us at the movies too) snuck into his house to scare him. When we got home, our Pastor prank called us and starting making this weird, scary sound made in the movie. As soon as we heard the sound, we knew what he was doing! UGH! Gives me the creeps thinking about it! I laugh every time I think about those two nights. Those are some fun memories. So, I leave you with Rowan Atkinson at his best! (I am sooooo excited that I found this on youtube. In fact, a lot of his stuff is on there.)
