blah, blah, blah

Okay, so I don't really have anything to write about but I just ran on the treadmill (SOOOOOOOOOOO BORING) and I am bored again. I am waiting on my mother in law to get back from seeing baby Isaiah so she can finish my hair. My Mom had to leave town for a funeral (I won't even get to see her until Saturday) last week then she had a mini vacation and won't be back until tonight. Then she has to work, work, work to fit in all her clients she had to rearrange. SO THANKFULLY, Jeremy's Mom is a former hairstylist/salon owner and she can do my hair color and cut. She actually cut it back in July and that was the last time I had it cut (long time to go when you have hair like mine). To me, my hair is way too long so I can't wait to have it super short again! ahhhhh!

So the week has not gone like I blogged about last week. My "Trip To Dallas" has been kind of disappointing to say the least. My expectations were filled with time with my Mom, other family members and getting some free babysitting in while I run around with friends. But my Mom is busy, my Mother in law is back and forth from the hospital and I can't even see my nephew!Since he is in the NICU, only parents and grandparents are allowed, UNLESS you are a licensed minister.

We did hang out with my Dad last night over pizza and had lots of Dallas Cowboys conversation! It was so nice to watch the news here because there is no Cowboys coverage like Dallas Cowboys coverage!! Austin news does not talk about the Cowboys like they do here. It's almost game day and I wish we would be here to watch the game since it's in Dallas but we will be back home. I've been taking advantage of listening to THE TICKET and Randy Galloway's show on espn radio. Those are just the little things I miss in Dallas. (Those radio shows caused my husband to buy my a kitchen radio last year for Christmas.) He listened while driving the UPS truck, I listened while cleaning and cooking. Then during dinner or on his drive home over the phone, we argued over Terrell Owens and how much I wish he played somewhere else and Jeremy disagreed. He's a TO fan and I will be too this year if he can hold on to the balls.

Yes, the Dallas sports coverage is a little something I miss. Now on to the BIG SOMETHING I miss! MEXICAN FOOD! Tonight, I finally get my time with Kelly Ann over MEXICAN food. People, this truly is the best place for Mexican food. OH MY! Or maybe not. Maybe, it's because I know all of the best places. No, it's the best place. I'm gonna pick Kelly up so I can see baby Shaefer (I've yet to meet her baby girl) and then we are headed to ESPARZA'S in downtown Grapevine. My mouth is already watering. Not only is it time with Kelly Ann, it's time with Kelly Ann without kids!!!! GIRL TIME!!!!! We will be taking lots of pictures. (Janna, I wish you were here so you could go with us. You would have a babysitter too!)

Mother in Law is home! I will be back later. My hair is about to be done! YES!

(P.S. Heidi, I have ran every single day. :) I know you are proud but it's not the same running alone. I do have Justin Timberlake on the iPod and that helps my pace tremendously. I can't wait for us to run next week!!)

Well Bybee! I am so glad to know I am missed. Jeremy says he REALLY misses me. I wish you were here so I could take you to do some Dallas Shopping. It's HEAVEN!!!!! Actually, I think Drew would probably like it more than you. :)

love you Lb!

A little JT in the ipod, eh? Probably make your treadmill experience a little better!

I hope you get to do as many fun things as possible back in your old home. I hope it feels okay to be back... love, amy
