A Fall Playdate at Erika's

I realize I have not shared enough about how much fun it is to be a part of such an incredible church plant! It's days like today that I am reminded of why God moved us to Austin and I realize how incomplete our lives were before we moved. God has reminded me of how incredible it is to be surrounded by friends that have truly become our family. Sometimes I have those moments where I have to pinch myself because I had no idea several years ago that I would be serving with Kyle and Erika. Not in a million years would I have guessed that when I knew them then, I would know them now. Almost seven months ago I went to meet them for breakfast when they were visiting Dallas and it was the day Jeremy and I both heard a whisper from the Holy Spirit that we were going to help them plant a church. What started as a soft whisper soon became a pretty obvious command. So we packed up, with their help and moved to Austin. Now, as I look around at the people in my life, I am amazed. Chris and Gina, Brandon and Cindy, James and Ruth, Bret and Heidi, John and Sabrina, Chris and Sarah, Drew and Lori, Davey and Carrie, and others I have probably forgotten. Some are a part of our church plant, some are not. But, God knew everyone single one of these precious people would be a part of my life and I am so blessed, so blessed by each and every one of them. Oh and last but not least, Kyle and Erika, our Pastor and friend.

I've had some pretty major breakthroughs lately and I think I have finally crossed over and accepted that THIS is my home and THIS is my family.
