(If you did not see THE OFFICE last night, you won't understand a word of what's below!)
I've never watched The Office. A few times I have tried but was unable to "get" it. I have three friends that really enjoy the show and it's always fun to watch something that you can later discuss with friends. So for the sake of my friendships with Bret and Heidi and my friend/Pastor Kyle, I decided to give it a go and Tivo it! After all, I bought Heidi a "I LOVE JIM" coffee mug last week and if she can love Jim, maybe I can too.
Well, I'm hooked! Last night's premiere was absolutely hilarious! It made me wish Heidi and I were running a Rabies Awareness Fun Run! HA! Instead we will be running the Hippo Stampede for fun! Nothing to cure, nothing to raise awareness for, just fun! But I will be thinking about Andy Bernard during our run. It's only a 5k, it's a pretty short distance. So if I do see that Heidi is struggling and needs a good laugh to get her to the finish line, I'll just remind her of our blessings and the fact that we will cross the finish line, BLOOD FREE! Poor Andy. Poor, poor Andy.
"I am not going to finish. I can't beat rabies. Nobody can beat rabies. Rabies has been around for a thousand years. And I was a fool to think that I could beat it."- Michael Scott

I love that show and was so bummed that I forgot to record it last night.
Sounds like it was hilarious!
We're trying to get caught up on the past seasons so we watched them on DVD last night... and missed last night's show! Now, how does that help me!! But I did get to watch Grey's:)
The office reminds me why I am so glad I no longer work in an office!!
Wow, it was SO funny!
Grey's and the Office are on at the same time here so we have to record one. Ugh.
Fun stuff though, having friends to watch it with!
I've been hooked since episode 1. I always laugh so hard! It is the one show I don't miss. Can you imagine having a boss like Michael!
I absolutely LOVE The Office. I laugh hysterically during each show. And being in HR makes me appreciate it so much more. Oh the things they do that would NEVER happen in real life. =)
*Sigh* I, too, wish that Grey's and The Office were on at different times.
Oh my stars do I love The Office. I work in a Christian non-profit and I do have bit of a crazy (but not innaproriate) boss. We have a ton of fun. We had a party last week for our team (marketing and development) and after a long strings of stories and our boss' fiance said "Ya'll are just like The Office! I'd so watch you on tv every weeK!" It's kinda true- we can always relate to somethig on the show. One of our guys is a dead ringer for Jim and many are great personality matches to others in the office. It's hysterical.
And, I agree, "Michael Scott’s Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race For The Cure" was excellent. My favorite things were the unbelievableness of Meredith getting hit by Michael, Angela hip-checking Dwight, “all” the bags of frozen french fries in Angela’s fridge, Dwight firing the real gun, Kelly at the finish line, Kelly saying that if there was a God, she and Ryan would be married by now. Wait. That's a lot. But, it was that good.
Now you just need to watch the rest of the series! :)
HI friend, it has been a while!! I didn't watch the Office :) but wanted to say HI anyways....love ya and hope your allergies go away soon....my hubbie is dying with his!!! Poor guy, poor you!!! Hope they go AWAY soon...
God bless,
Lizy
