GO COWBOYS!

This is my third post today but Jeremy is in the bath with Ezekiel, trying to get everyone ready for bed so we are set for the game. In thirty minutes, the COWS kickoff and I am so nervous that I can't sit still. I just got off the phone with Dad and he's at my brother's watching the game. I could tell by my Dad's tone of voice that he pacing the floors much like I am. He gets better pre-game coverage there in Dallas than we do in Austin so I asked if Terrance Newman was playing but he wasn't sure. Then he starts going through the teams in our division that lost today and the teams that won (but I already new) and then he says, "If we win tonight, we will be tied for first place with the Redskins (the team we absolutely abhor! Sorry Kate!)." And I am like, "Dad, it's the first game! CHILL!" Then Jeremy is in the background screaming, "Tell him we should have begged Parcells to stay one more year or prayed for God to appear in Norv Turner's dreams to get him to come to Dallas because San Diego will probably win the Superbowl. I don't know about this good old boy Wade Phillips!" Then my Dad gets annoyed with Jeremy because he LOVES Wade Phillips. They do this EVERY SINGLE season. Jeremy loves the Cowboys just as much as Dad and me but he loves to pick at us!

My friend Lori gave my a Dallas Cowboys cup this afternoon. She sent it with Drew when he dropped of my practice cd for Sunday and now it is my official good luck charm for the season. I will drink from this cup EVERY game! Thanks Lori!! (She's obsessed like me!)

So before I hung up with Dad, I said "Good luck tonight." Then he says, "I'll be talking to you during the game." And that's how the games will go from now on. Since we can't scream at the tv together, we will have to do it over the phone. Oh and my Father in law will be calling too!

It's game day baby and the COWBOYS are playing! And I've been praying all day that Tony Romo will have a great game and that they will destroy the Giants. So GOD IS ON THEIR SIDE!
