Today I went to Target! Ahhhhhhhhhh, Target. It's been soooooo long, way too long. Oh how I have missed the bull's eye! Even better, I found some great deals. Including matching Halloween Socks for all three kids in the DOLLAR section and my Mom is buying the matching shirts that I found online at Old Navy! I'm envisioning the Pumpkin Patch trip already.
So it's the weekend! And let me say I am so excited because Jeremy was going to have to work but long story short, he will be home all day tomorrow. Then we have a block party with Resonate Community over in my friend Gina's neighborhood. We've rented a Snow cone machine, a HUGE bounce house/obstacle course, we will have a DJ, hot dogs, drinks and give-a-ways! I'm really praying that we make some good connections with some families that may be looking for a church. This is our second block party this month.
Drew, the Worship Leader at the church I've been singing at, asked me if I would do the set for next weekend, which means I will be choosing all worship songs. Sounds pretty easy but I have to think about the flow of the service and the key changes. I know I will have his help but I'm praying that I choose a good set of songs instead of JUST the ones I like to sing. However, I do know that we will be singing a David Crowder song I LOVE. It's one of my favorite songs right now and it's easy for me because Drew sings the lead on it. :) The band rocks on it too! I have to have these chosen by tomorrow night so my mind is no longer focused on the menu I need to plan for this coming week. Instead, I am focused on songs! My trip to HEB Plus will have to wait.
Then Sunday morning is an early morning for church and I am oh so excited because I was not there last weekend. I am excited about worship! And THEN, it's KICK OFF AT 3:15PM! GO COWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's it! Nothing but jibba jabba. Sorry, Mr. T.! (Don't say you never watched The A -Team. You know you did and you probably had the lunchbox too. I loved B.A. Baracus.)
P.S. My condolences to the Giants last week. Yeah right!

Did you eat the cereal? We always ate the cereal- the prize was always Mr. T stickers! I think that I remember this because my friend decorated his entire dresser with many sheets of those stickers, much to his mother's dismay!
Back then, other adults would tell me that B.A. stood for bad attitude. I never wanted to believe them (in my head it stood for you know what because he totally was!!)
PS - I LOVED B.A.! And yes, my brother had the lunch box - it rocked!
Looks like we are still tied for first - GO SKINS!!!!
