I wanted to write today about what God is teaching me about STRESS. I'm really learning a lot right now but my mind won't let me go there yet because I'm struggling so much with allergies. Hopefully tomorrow my head will be clear and I can communicate more clearly!! But today, my head is in the clouds.
Gina came over this afternoon and we sat outside in the "Fall like" weather (finally it's cooler) and let the kids ride bikes while we talked about pies, cookies, Thanksgiving food and Christmas trees. We looked through magazines, talked about recipes, checked out Wal Mart ads and chatted about how we can get our cookies to be full and fluffy instead of flat and chewy! Luckily, Alton Brown on the FoodNetwork, just had a show on that very topic!
Tonight is Bible Study at our house and this week I'm preparing for my 5K race this weekend. Heidi and I ran a 5K yesterday to practice and we did great!
