I'm fine. No, really I am fine. I made a conscience choice to NOT revert back to my old mindset. I've worked way too hard to get to the place I am! It would be a waste to just go back to the old struggles. Ezekiel FINALLY had his sixth month well check at almost nine months of age. He got shots, a finger prick for a standard anemic check and he checked out perfect! He's thriving, he's doing things a few months ahead (according to the doctor) and he's absolutely baby delicious! The only thing I was not too happy about was the pediatrician telling me I should probably drop his morning nap. She had her reasons, so we shall see. :) I loved the pediatrician though. Actually I think she is my favorite one that we have ever had. She talked to me forever and I love that!
Before Ezekiel's appointment, I had one with one of the family doctors. Apparently he just joined the practice last week. By the looks of him, he is young so it was not so fun showing him sun damage on my behind! But, no pun intended, he does not think it is something really bad but :) he was not sure so he had his partner come in and take a look. She was not concerned either but wants me to keep my appointment with the Dermatologist. They both think it is something but nothing major. So I do have some peace of mind. If anything, I've decided I am 100% done with tanning beds and that's no lie!
As far as the busy week, I will not be canceling anything. I'm taking it one day at a time.
