Michael Kors is calling

So our church is starting a new thing in the Kids Ministry and this Sunday is the big day! Well, my friend Jaime/Children's Pastor asked if Jeremy could build this thing she needs for the new room. I call it a thing because I have no idea what else to call it! Anyway, Jeremy said that was fine but he needed her to get the materials from Lowes while he was at work so he could do it tonight and tomorrow night.

And since we have been home all day long, Ava Beth has been in and out of dress up clothes and sometimes she is stripped down to nothing but panties. It seems my kids are not really in to wearing clothes when we are at home so I see a lot of Princess panties and Spiderman underwear! Are my kids the only ones?

Suddenly there is a knock at the door! It's Pastor Jaime and her Dad (who also goes to the Church) and her daughter. I tell the kids to stay inside while I help get everything in the garage. Ava Beth could not contain herself, she had to come outside and say hello! And this is what she was wearing! Oh and the best part? Ava Beth had her panties on backwards! What will people think of me now?! :)

Cinderella Panties (worn backwards), metallic gold shoes from Old Navy, a leotard worn as a shirt (the rest is hanging out in the back) and a pumpkin hat! But look at her! She actually put her shoes on the right feet! I am so proud! Project Runway is already calling so I gotta get the phone!

(I'll be back later for ONE more blog post! Today is my baby's one year birthday!! Last year at this time, I was pushing!)

See- the right shoes can truly make the outfit! You can;t get away with wearing backwards panties if you don't have the accessories right:-)

She is a cutie, and "no" you are not alone. Half the time I am afraid to see what my girls are wearing around the house- and they are 9 and 10. Girls don't outgrow their passion for changing clothes all day long; at least in our ouse!
