Breakfast

Lately I have been using frozen strawberries because then I don't have to use ice. I hate finding ice chips in my smoothie and since Jeremy had this blender when he was single, the ice chips are sometimes large. We need a new blender! The strawberries give it a perfect texture.

This morning I used frozen strawberries, a few frozen peaches and a banana. You can also put a little bit of honey in or flax seed oil. The rest of my ingredients are in the picture. I use the soy milk because real milk does not work out well for me. :) But I have been using the soy with the Omegas in it. This makes my smoothie packed with total goodness for my body!! My husband LOVES these too! So much that he is trying to get me to wake up at 5am and make him one for his ride to work. :)

As they sing on Yo Gabba Gabba, "There's a party in my tummy. So yummy, so yummy!"

love Gabba Gabba :)
That looks really yummy - I love protein smoothies - Is your husband still working for that church? I remember you guys moved there for him to be in the ministry - how is that going?
Hope the kids are better!
Have a great day!

We invested in a Vitamix. I say invested because it was costly....but so worth it!!!! We live on smoothies!! I am going to have to try this recipe:)

Are your kids obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba like mine is? Thank goodness it only comes on once a day because I'm not sure I could take it more than that!!

thanks for posting this! Just today on the treadmill I was wondering where I could find some good smoothie recipes. great on eating healthy, too! I think it's a great service to our husbands as they might not always eat healthy on their own, at least mine wouldn't. ;)

I make the same smoothie every morning. I do add some vanilla and ground flax seed for fiber. They are the best. Your blogs fill me up and they are healthy also. Love you. Kaufee
