tough

We all have our good days and our bad days. Well, today was one of my bad days.

School is going great. Josiah is blowing me away with the reading. I'm stunned daily by how well he is reading! We also had a nature walk today at an incredible park. It wore me out! I am tired and I can tell the kids are too. Getting everyone adjusted to a new schedule is a lot of work. I've come to the conclusion that my expectations on this week were a little high for myself and the kids. The kids have had a really rough day behavior wise and I have had a rough time handling it. I could go to bed right this second.

A glass of red wine is great for the heart and for a day like today!

Excited tomorrow is Friday! :) Praying tomorrow is much better.

This to shall pass! :)

A schedule has been SO good for our family. Gavin is finally back on his nap routine which makes my day SO much easier! I know you have your hands full with 3 littles at home ALL day! You will get a few extra diamonds in your crown for that one! :) Hang in there! Once you have established your routine your life will be so much better! I think our kids really thrive on routine. YOU CAN DO IT sista! You are doing such a great thing by teaching your babies at home!!!

HomeSchool, Public School, both take routine and you, like me aren't so much "pro-routine" but the kids will thrive off of it and we will adjust. :o)

Hang in there girl :) It is exhausting at first but you will adjust...body, mind, and soul!

We start next week and this will be my first year teaching three at one time. I expect several hiccups!

Blessings!

There is something good about bad days, they always make good days seem even better. :-)

i agree so much with gina. no matter what you do - schedule is a must with school age kids. and for us, i chose to maintain a relaxed, but still a routine for the summer. it made our adjustment back into the school year easier.

hang in there - like you said, the rough days make the good days all the more sweeter!

i am so proud of you. you have set up a beautiful area and it looks like, despite your rough day, y'all are off to a great start.

hugs!
