Last week is a blur. Crazy, challenging and long week. Ava Beth had the stomach virus, then I got it. I managed to have two nights of running before the sickness hit me. Then Wednesday night when I returned home from a 4.6 mile run, I felt nauseous. Two hours later I was puking my guts out. I was so sick Jeremy had to work from home so he could take care of the kids. Thursday was still bad because my entire body ached. Friday was better but I still felt strange. Today? Well, I still feel not quite right.
My Mother in law flew in Friday night and is leaving tomorrow morning. It has been great having her here. We have had a lot of fun and Jeremy and I got to run 10 miles together on Saturday. You can read about that run on the running blog. Beware! It's not a very pleasant blog post. If the word "pissed" offends you, don't read it. Even so, I am celebrating because the 10 mile run, just 48 hours after a stomach virus, showed me how crazy I have become about running. More than anything it shows discipline and discipline is my "thing" I run for. Long story. (I may write about this because it has a pretty good story behind it.)
We have a busy morning of School tomorrow. I'm thinking it may be hard to get the kids to come off the "weekend high" or maybe the "grandparent high". Lots of prayers to start the day! Looking forward to getting back on Schedule and doing some fun homeschool stuff this week!
I'll come back tomorrow and share a little more. I've got some fun pictures form the weekend.
very sleepy,
amanda
