We had about 24 kids so I did cupcakes and I made my first electric guitar cake! I traced a pattern with one of Josiah's guitars and made two sheet cakes and got it done! You know it was not very hard at all! The knobs are rolos, the tuners are junior mints stuck on tooth picks and the strings are elastic bands. I used T pins to keep the strings in and carefully took them out before serving! Josiah and Ava Beth officially believe I am the coolest Mom ever and now fully expect me to do something big for every birthday cake. :) I am ready for the challenge! If you freeze a cake for thirty minutes after it cools, you can cut it into anything! Then do a crumb layer of icing, stick it back in the freezer for fifteen minutes and then finish the icing after that, it all comes together! It really was so much fun!!!!
