Jeremy let me order the download option of the pictures from the professionals and I'm very excited with all of them! It's so cool to have the clock in the picture. Remember the clock is gun time, not my chip time. I had just looked at my Garmin and saw that I had made it under 5 hours and I was SOOOOOOOOo excited!! Like I said before, I would have been happy with 4:59 or pretty much ANY time because completion is what it's ALL ABOUT! It's about earning the medal!! But I'm thrilled with 4:55!
I am still in shock with how much I loved it. Yes, it was hard and I had moments of extreme pain but you can't expect to run 26.2 miles and not FEEL it. The joy at the finish line is like no other!
I hate to admit it but today I have been really down. All the training, all the excitement and it ends at the finish line. I'm so glad to already be registered for Chicago! Training begins in a little over three months! CAN'T WAIT!
For some reason YOUTUBE is not letting me embed the slideshow I made with music. So if you want to see a slideshow of the marathon with the song that got me through my wall, go HERE!
I love marathon running!

that video was GREAT!
you are awesome!
I know you have compared running to the Christian walk many times and as you spoke just now about how you felt pain at times during the marathon, that it was difficult at times but the JOY at the finish line was like none other - I got it completely!
Isn't the Christian walk the same? Hardships, struggles, strongholds, pain, but the JOY during and at the end when we see Him! Thank you for this picture. I so needed it today.
Hi I came across your blog awhile ago and it inspires me everytime I read it. Your most recent post, I guess the one after that really really touched my heart! I am going through a storm right now, I know that it will clear, but I have had the same issues with people saying negative things about me that is very hurtful, especially when you know that you have done nothing to receive that kind of treatment. Thank you for posting that whole segment about your life, it is always comforting to know that there are other people going through the storm with you. :) Thank you for continuing to be an inspiration!
