Nursing Covers/Hooter Hiders/BeBe Au Lait/Udder Covers

Whatever you want to call them!

The good news is, tomorrow I begin week 30 of pregnancy and I decided to go ahead and purchase the Hooter Hider I have been wanting AND I got a free one from another site and you can too!  There are some cheaper versions on ebay but I fear they may be too thin.

This is the one I had been wanting and I got free shipping so $35 wasn't so bad!  And I love, love, love the design! (and doesn't this model look like Elin Nordegren, formerly known as Elin Woods?  It's not but I think it looks like her. She took her name back this week.  Just in case you wanted to know that!)

Okay so do you want to know which one I got for free? Well, I had to pay shipping but the cover was free!  You just need to go to http://www.uddercovers.com/ and choose the one you want.  Apparently the reviews say this brand is a little too thin but I figure this can be one I keep in the car just in case I leave the other at home.  And from what I hear, this promotion is ongoing so they have most items on back order.  In the coupon code just type BREASTFEEDING and you only pay $9.95 for shipping.  I chose the Jones pattern.  I read that some think this is a scam and your debit will be charged a ton more but I also read this is false.  Just to be safe, I paid through my paypal account using my debit.  Using paypal protects you from anything like that.  Did you know that?  Well, now you do!  She also got one and said her purchase was safe and nothing unusual happened.  So there!

And I hope I look this good when I am nursing! Don't you? HA! :)

Hey! I got a free one last year from Udder Covers too :) No scam!

They aren't quite as big as I would like but you can't beat the price! Yours is a much nicer print too :)

I asked a friend who has a newborn if she had a hooter hider and she thought that was the funniest thing- she had never heard that! Oh my goodness, I am so glad to hear you say it beacuse she made me think maybe I was crazy!
I always had to just use a blanket and wish I would have known of these 13 years ago:-)

I have two udder covers. The first I received as a gift, and I loved it so much that when they had a promotion to just pay shipping, I got myself another one since it seems like it's just destined to get spit up on. It is thin, but I think that's good 'cause Meghan doesn't get as warm under there, and I feel the coverage provides for a good amount of modesty (i.e. not see-through thin).

I don't know your email address, so I guess I'll just leave a comment on this post:

If you haven't already gotten it, So That's What They're For is my very favorite breastfeeding book. I nursed both kids exclusively and referred to the book several times with both kids. It's informative without being preachy or judgmental, like so many breastfeeding books seem to be. I wish you all the best as you prepare to nurse your little Jude! If you every have any questions, I'd love to help out. michellemuses(at)yahoo(dot)com.
