Happy Halloween & Merry Christmas

Last year, Kelly Ann, gave me a Christmas CD way before Christmas arrived. She knows and appreciates my obsession with Christmas and she knows that I begin listening to Christmas music every single year on November 1st (TOMORROW!). Well, the CD she gave me last year was Wintersong. It's a beautiful, amazing CD by Sarah McLachlan. The Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack is usually #1 on the list but Sarah's CD put Charlie second on the list. Josiah has been asking me for the past two weeks if he can watch the Charlie Brown Christmas dvd and I keep saying, "The day after Halloween you can watch it and Mommy can listen to Christmas music. Okay?" And he has not forgotten! He knows tomorrow is the big day! So last Friday I was frantically looking for my Sarah McLachlan Christmas CD and could not find it ANYWHERE! I told Kelly Ann about my loss and because she loves me and because she knows me sooooooo well and because she knows tomorrow is the big Christmas music day, a UPS man rang my doorbell today and delivered me a Sarah McLachlan Christmas CD! Just in time for November 1st! Thank you Kelly Ann. I love you so much! Josiah begged me to begin listening to it today and I almost considered it but then I knew I would be breaking tradition.

So guess what I am doing tomorrow morning? I'm going to make a pot of coffee, turn on Noggin for the kids, lay Ezekiel down for his morning nap and go upstairs with my entire pot of coffee and drink it while I listen to my cd! Merry Christmas to me!!!! Oh I always forget we have Thanksgiving coming soon. Don't we? Sorry folks, Thanksgiving is just a day of Turkey and dressing and delicious homemade pies. Christmas is a SEASON!

Batman, the Fireman and Cinderella! Zeke would not keep his hat on but he was adorable and this is also what Josiah wore when he was a baby. I am so glad I kept it!!

I've never seen a prettier Cinderella. WOW! Today I curled her hair, gave her some blush, some "lips" (that's what she calls lip gloss) and even did a little mascara. And oh my gosh, she has really long eye lashes! As I was getting her ready, Jeremy came in and she said "Daddy, look at me! I'm a "Pincess" going to the Ball! He did a double take and I suddenly envisioned me helping her get ready for Prom. I can only imagine how gorgeous she will be and I can only imagine the emotional mess her Daddy will be in on that day!

This is Trinity and Josiah. Today, Heidi told me that she thinks Trinity (Ava Beth's friend) has a crush on Josiah. So of course I had to get their picture together! Josiah is actually taller than this but all night he kept doing this crazy thing with his legs. Although I am noticing there are a lot of tall little girls.

This is Christian and Josiah, Heidi's oldest. All of our kids are exactly six months apart. We both have boy, girl, boy. It's no wonder we are such good friends! And last night Josiah told me that Christian was his best friend. Ahhhhhhh.

Josiah, Christian, Ava Beth and Trinity. Israel and Ezekiel were not in the picture taking mood. Again, third babies get the shaft! Always! Especially with photos!

And this is Adrianna and Kylie! Josiah told me last night that his two "girl" best friend were Adrianna and Kylie. How sweet is that?!
