"Pincess" Panties

Whoever said potty training girls is easier than potty training boys is CRAZY! :) Josiah was MUCH easier. I've tried a few times and quit. But last week I decided I was DONE buying diapers for Ava Beth. She will be three in December and it's time! So as long as she has a princess on her panties, she's happy. No Dora, no Strawberry Shortcake! This little girl demands Ariel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and her absolute favorite, Cinderella! If it aint' "Pincess" (yes Pincess) panties, it's nothing! Today she wore panties all day long and we did not have one pee pee accident, not one! We did have the other but it wasn't bad. Last night at our meeting with our church plant team, she went potty on the toilet and went running out of the bathroom to tell EVERYONE she went potty, including Mr. Chris and Pastor Kyle. It was adorable!!!

Hopefully by the end of the week, she will be trained! I'm putting her in the church nursery this weekend in panties, no pull up. (Heidi, please tell me you are working her class this weekend?) I did the same with Josiah and it worked. Of course I will pack some extra clothes and "Pincess" panties but the pull up will only be worn at night because those things are EXPENSIVE! And no she won't wear the Wal Mart pull ups because Huggies makes PRINCESS PULL UPS! Can you guess what she is going to be for Halloween? :)

Yeah Ava Beth! I've been working on Peyton this entire month we've been gone and we have had 7 days now without a single accident so I think we've finally got it down. She's even pooping in the potty which was our biggest hang up for a long time. Anyhow...she only wear's the princess panties too so we'll have to make sure we keep our bottles and our panties straight now! :-)

That is so cute! I have always herad girls are easier too - BOTH of my boys were true to the theory that boys are harder - they held out so long I thought I was gonna go nuts!
Good luck - I am sure she will do great!
