starry night

The kids have been doing an awesome study on the life of Abraham. I LOVE our History! Add The Jesus Storybook Bible to that and it rocks! I have learned more about the Old Testament in the last six weeks with the kids than I have in my entire life. And I grew up in Sunday School!

"I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed," Genesis 26:4

This scripture has given us so much to talk about. Just yesterday while riding in the car, Josiah asked,  "So, we are a part of Abraham's family? That's amazing!" Last week when we began talking about Abraham, the Lord brought this song to mind. This song makes me think of Abraham. It makes me think of ME. It makes me think of my children and the one growing inside my womb.

For the past four or five school days, during "Circle time", we have sang this song. I play it as loud as I can and all the kids sing. Jude rocks back and forth on his bottom and claps. Yesterday something pretty awesome happened! I opened my eyes and saw Josiah and Ava Beth singing this song with their hands lifted in praise and their eyes closed. All I could do was cry! I am so blessed.

Thank you Father for multiplying my family! For my descendants will be as numerous as the stars on a starry night!

Praise Him!!!

I LOVE that image of your children raising their hands in worship. What an amazing legacy you are leaving for them!!! I hope my children will one day feel free to worship so openly!

Y'all are such an Encouragement to me. Thank you for always affirming me AND freely giving your love. So often I think women struggle to give compliments and cheer other women on. Not my friends!!

Thank you for not withholding! I love each of you so much!
